Our Term 1 Newsletter focus’ on the way Glen Education is actively embedding the new Child Safety reforms into our everyday practice, it is important to ensure every child feels safe, heard, and protected within our kindergarten community, we also consider how our connections with the local community further strengthen the safety and wellbeing of the children in our services.
We asked our education teams to consider the following question: How do we create a culture where every child feels safe, supported, and confident- and how do our connections with the community help us strengthen that safety together?
You will see examples of the following:
- How daily routines, relationships, and learning environments actively uphold the Child Safe Standards
- The ways in which we empower children to understand their rights, express their needs, and recognise what a safe relationship looks and feels like
- How our community involvement reinforces that keeping children safe is a shared responsibility and how these partnerships support families and deepen the protective network around each child
