Welcome to Glen Education Rowen Street Kindergarten

Glen Education Rowen Street Kindergarten is situated in a peaceful street close to Liston Street Reserve.

We will commence managing this service at the beginning of Term 1 in 2025, offering 3 and 4 year old kindergarten to the Boroondara community.

Our program promotes both indoor and outdoor activities that are thoughtfully designed to support each child’s learning, development, and overall well-being. With play at the core of our approach, we believe that it serves as a crucial foundation for learning. Children attending Glen Education kindergartens will experience a play-based curriculum that grows from their natural curiosities, ensuring they are actively engaged and inspired by activities that capture their interests.

Kindergarten Costs

All children in Victoria can access up to 15 hours per week of free kindergarten, regardless of visa status or income. At Glen Education, we are providing the full 15 hours of free kindergarten to both 3 year old and 4 year old age groups. At certain Glen Education kindergartens, children may also attend additional days at a cost to families.

Timetable Options Glen Education Rowen Street

Glen Education participate in a Central Registration Scheme for sessional First Year (Three Year Old) and Second Year (Four Year Old) kindergarten programs, please note sessions are multi-age for children aged 3 to 5 years.

Register/Enrol

All children are eligible to attend 2 funded days (15 hours) per week of kindergarten for free.

Pre Prep children are eligible to attend 3 funded days (22.5hrs) per week of kindergarten for free.

Families are welcome to drop off and pick up their children within our operating hours.

 

Need more flexibility? Following the initial rounds of funded kindergarten placements, families looking for additional kindergarten days beyond the 2-day funded program can choose extra unfunded days, available Monday to Friday at an additional cost. Availability is limited and subject to vacancies. To enquire about current unfunded availability, please contact us at enrolments@gleneducation.org.au for more details.

Please note that at kindergartens where demand for kindergarten places is high, funded two-day sessions will be prioritised. Additional days will only be offered once all families have been allocated a funded place.

Eligibility information

First year (3YO) enrolments

To be eligible for funded First Year (Three Year Old) Kindergarten, your child must be three years of age or older by 30 April in the year they attend.

Holiday Care Program

The Glen Education Holiday Care Program is offered to children aged between 3 to 5 years, living within Glen Eira, Bayside, Kingston, Monash, Stonnington and the surrounding communities. We are open during the term 2 and term 3 holidays (excluding public holidays), for a total of 4 weeks a year.
