Glen Education proudly operates a newly refurbished kindergarten located within the Murrumbeena Family Centre – Glen Murrumbeena Road Kindergarten.

At Glen Education, we provide a rich and engaging learning environment that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor experiences. Our program is grounded in play, recognising it as the cornerstone of early childhood learning. Children who attend a Glen Education kindergarten participate in a play-based curriculum shaped by their interests and natural curiosities—encouraging deep engagement, creativity, and a lasting love of learning.

Kindergarten Costs

All children in Victoria can access up to 15 hours per week of free kindergarten, regardless of visa status or income. At Glen Education, we are providing the full 15 hours of free kindergarten to both 3 year old and 4 year old age groups. At certain Glen Education kindergartens, children may also attend additional days at a cost to families.

Timetable Options Glen Education Murrumbeena Road

Glen Education participate in a Central Registration Scheme for sessional First Year (Three Year Old) and Second Year (Four Year Old) kindergarten programs, please note sessions are multi-age for children aged 3 to 5 years.

Register/Enrol

All children are eligible to attend 2 funded days (15 hours) per week of kindergarten for free.

Pre Prep children are eligible to attend 3 funded days (22.5hrs) per week of kindergarten for free.

Families are welcome to drop off and pick up their children within our operating hours.

 

Need more flexibility? Glen Murrumbeena Road Kindergarten offers extra days from Monday to Friday, beyond the 2-day funded program, for families who would like extra kindergarten, available at an additional cost. To learn which days currently have unfunded vacancies available, please contact us at enrolments@gleneducation.org.au for more details.

Eligibility information

First year (3YO) enrolments

To be eligible for funded First Year (Three Year Old) Kindergarten, your child must be three years of age or older by 30 April in the year they attend.
