We’re excited to share our Term 3 newsletter. In this edition, we highlight how our services foster a safe and supportive environment where children, families, and educators can learn, grow, and thrive together.
As outlined in the Child Safe Standards All children have the right to feel safe and be safe, but safety does not just happen.
A child safe organisation takes deliberate steps to safeguard children from physical, sexual, emotional and psychological abuse and neglect. It puts children’s safety and wellbeing first and embeds a commitment to child safety in every aspect of the organisation. (Short guide to the Child Safe Standards, p3)
As you read through the newsletter you will see how the whole organisation, from IT to Customer Relations, has a shared commitment to child safety.
You’ll find wonderful examples of how our educators acknowledge and honour each child’s cultural identity, fostering a sense of belonging and respect for diversity across our kindergartens.
We also continue to enjoy connecting with our community through a range of important events and celebrations of our people. It’s been wonderful to see so many educators involved, and we’re thrilled that our social media community is growing, allowing us to share even more of the incredible experiences happening across our services.
We believe sharing these insights with our families is essential to building strong, inclusive partnerships for learning.
Please enjoy this edition, and we welcome your feedback and thoughts throughout the year.
