Building Connections and Inspiring Change – Rye Pre-School Visits Glen Education to Explore Best Start Best Life Reforms

At the recent Bayside Peninsula Leadership Forum, the Department of Education, Victoria connected educators from Rye Pre-School with Glen Education’s General Manager, Melissa MacMaster, to support the upcoming Best Start Best Life reforms that will be implemented across Victoria.

On Tuesday, 22 October, teachers Julie and Mel from Rye Pre-School embarked on a professional “road trip” with Glen Education leaders Janine and Sally. Together, they visited Glen Edithvale, Glen Chelsea, and Glen Aspendale North Kindergartens to showcase our innovative practices and flexible programming.
Julie and Mel observed our programs in action and spoke directly with Glen educators to learn how the new reforms have been implemented across our services.
“We left with a renewed sense of hope for our little kinder. We gained knowledge, insights, and inspiration. It was so valuable to see the programs in action and how each (Glen Education) kindergarten remained unique to its community while delivering wonderfully rich and diverse programs.” – Julie Irvine, Rye Pre-School Kindergarten Teacher.

At Glen Education, we are committed to building meaningful links with the local and wider community.
