Supporting Mental Health at Glen Education kindergartens

As we approach mid-year and Melbourne’s weather cools, it’s important to prioritise mental health and well-being. At Glen Education, we recognise the significance of maintaining a positive mental state for our educators, support staff, and families.

Inclusive communities are resilient communities. We understand that individuals from LGBTQIA+ communities often face additional challenges, and at Glen Education, we are committed to fostering a supportive environment that embraces diversity and celebrates the uniqueness of each individual.

We encourage everyone in our community to take part in our challenge: reach out and connect with at least four people in your network. Simply asking “Are you ok?” and actively listening can make a world of difference.

Remember, seeking support is a sign of strength. Our People are important to us, and our leadership team are readily available to provide you with assistance. Additionally, every Glen Education employee and their immediate family members have access to free and confidential counselling through Acacia Connection.  If you’re feeling low or overwhelmed, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Let’s empower ourselves with knowledge, connect with our support networks, and practice proactive self-care. Together, we can cultivate a resilient and healthy community where everyone feels supported and valued.

Together, let’s make a positive impact on mental health and well-being at Glen Education kindergartens.
