Annual General Meeting

Last week, Glen Education held their Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members of the community came together to celebrate the achievements of the 2023 year, to answer any questions about the organisation’s performance and to elect office bearers for the 2024 Board. We heard Board Chairperson, Katie Frazer, CEO, Samantha Kolasa and GM Shared Services, John Raciti, reflect on the organisation’s outstanding performance from the 2023 year, against the objectives of our Strategic Plan 2022-2024.

2023 has been a remarkable year for Glen Education, which saw three new services join the organisation, expansion into a new local government area, and the opening a new kindergarten on a primary school site. We also received an unprecedented exceeding rating, for nine out of ten services, that were assessed against the Education and Care Services National Standard. We have continued to think innovatively about our delivery models, how to meet the needs of diverse communities and have faced sector challenges with a solution-focused approach. We have remained true to our core purpose, vision, and values. Our achievements, detailed in our 2023 Glen Education Annual Report is a testament to the commitment, hard work, dedication, and expertise of all the staff at Glen Education.
