At the beginning of 2024, Glen Education adapted our traditional Monday-to-Friday schedule and offered Saturday sessions as part of a 15-hour (2 day) program, allowing more three- and four-year-olds in Victoria, regardless of visa status or income, to access up to 15 hours of free kindergarten.
Our Saturday programs are designed to give more families flexibility while providing children with a full, enriching early learning experience.
For Glen Education, Saturday kindergarten is more than just a timetable adjustment—it’s about advocacy. We’re advocating for every child’s right to access kindergarten now and for families to find a program that fits their unique way of living.

Glen Education will again consult with 2025 families to understand the diversity of the community, and if needed, will increase our offering of Saturday kindergarten, to continue to ensure all children can access a high-quality kindergarten program in the year they are eligible to receive it.
