Celebrating Glen Edithvale Kindergarten – 5 months into a new year

Celebrating our joint achievement with Department of Education, Kingston Council and families from the community, for Glen Edithvale Kindergarten, which has been operating under the management of Glen Education, since the start of the year and thriving.

Glen Edithvale Kindergarten have been operating under the management of Glen Education, since the start of the year. Facing closure in 2023, it was the collective efforts of Glen Education, the Department of Education (DE), Kingston Council (KCC), local member for Mordialloc, Tim Richardson, and families from the community – particularly Aggie Chatz, that secured the kindergarten’s future.

Last week, we gathered to celebrate our joint achievement and the thriving kindergarten that it is today.  Our sincere thanks go to everyone that joined us today, including DE Executive Director Early Learning, Mathew Lundgren, DE Early Childhood Quality, Participation and Access Manager, Nicola McCaul, DE Early Childhood Improvement Manager, Kathryn Higgins, DE Kindergarten Improvement Advisor, Chelsea Harrak, Member for Mordialloc, Tim Richardson, Parent Committee leader, Aggie Chatz, Kingston Council Team Leader Children’s Services Partnerships, Donna Feore and Kingston Council Coordinator Children’s Services Partnerships, Cat Kimber.

Glen Education have a deep commitment to helping kindergartens in ways that ensure we can provide exceptional education to the community through the delivery of high-quality education to young children and their families.  We look forward to a successful and flourishing future in partnership with the Edithvale community.
