Supporting the Family Life Christmas Community Appeal At Glen Education, we value teaching children about empathy, kindness, and the importance of helping others. As part of our support for the Family Life Christmas Community Appeal, our kindergarten communities are coming together, to raise awareness for children and families doing it tough this festive season.
At Glen Edithvale Kindergarten for example, children begun to understand the importance of giving and kindness, by reading the book titled “It’s a NO Money Day” by Kate Milner. The book sparked meaningful discussions with children, about different family situations, and encouraged children to think about the importance of community support and compassion.
Through stories like these, we connect learning to real-life events. We can build a strong foundation that develops values that support one another and in doing so, foster a deeper understanding of how we can care for others.
