Celebrating Glen Education at the 2024 Victorian Early Years Awards
The winners of the 2024 Victorian Early Years Awards (VEYA) were announced by the Minister for Children, Lizzie Blandthorn, on 7 November 2024, at a wonderful event hosted by radio broadcaster and author Jacinta Parsons and the Department of Education, Victoria.
We’re so proud to share that Glen Education was one of just 27 finalists chosen from hundreds of nominations, reflecting the incredible work happening across the state.
The Improving Access and Participation category, in which there were only three finalists, highlighted our commitment to developing an Education and Inclusion Support Team, dedicated to supporting the individual and unique needs of each family, child, and educational team. This effort reflects Glen Education’s commitment to a rights-based, socially just approach—ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in an inclusive early childhood program.
While we didn’t bring home the award this year, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners in our category – Mildura Rural City Council in partnership with Connected Beginnings for hosting an ‘Enrol to Kinder Day’ to support families to overcome barriers to kindergarten enrolment, and to everyone making a difference in the early childhood sector. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of our team and the support of our community.
Together, we continue to grow, learn, empower, nurture, and educate every day.
